Team Update
After co-founding midiphy and after seven years of working together, Andy has decided to leave the cooperation.
Statement from Andy:
"I've decided to exit from my partnership with Peter and leave midiphy. As part of this separation, I've provided Peter a sole license for some of the designs that I developed, which he can continue to produce and sell under the same closed-source model. This should not be seen as an endorsement of anything that Peter chooses to do, and he also takes on the full responsibility for support. I wish Peter the best of luck and thank him for a collaboration of more than seven years.
This period of product design has been a very interesting experience for me that dates back to 2013 or even earlier, much of which I owe to the generous spirit of Thorsten Klose of MIDIbox, the wonderful case designs from Adrian Hallik and inspiration from Émilie Gillet of the former Mutable Instruments. I hope that the hundreds of people who built midiphy devices are still enjoying them and continue to make great music."

The new 2024 LoopA Look!
Visual upgrade for LoopA
Just in time for the holiday season, LoopA receives a facelift for 2024: our custom-designed superQ keycaps provide more uniform color mixing, are glare-free and illuminate a larger key area. These are identical to the keys used in the midiphy MatriX, so LoopA and MatriX form a coherent dream team!

New LoopA firmware version 2.10 available
This software release includes a long-awaited Song Mode for LoopA, with powerful track, clip and pattern arrangement features!
Other major additions include:
force-to-scale White Keys Mode
tap tempo function
Eurorack gate input support for sequencer control, such as tap tempo, pattern cueing, track switching and more
improved CC support, including CC remote control commands and filtering per port
custom user instruments increased to 64 (avoid cryptic port and channel names!)
triplet quantization support

The midiphy MatriX Essential kits are now restocked: as the ADC chips are currently hard to obtain, we've secured enough of them and will provide those required MCP3208 analog-digital converter chips for free in every kit.

We're happy to announce the availablity of the new midiphy wirescanner full kits, containing all parts required for assembly. The wirescanner is a useful cable tester tool to graphically validate the integrity of IDC and micromatch cables, i.e. for eurorack power cables, but also for all internal cables used within the SEQ v4+ and the upcoming midiphy MatriX. Enjoy! :)
